Who you're agreeing with

PANGEAS (pangeas.org) is operated by Pierre Zah as a sole proprietorship, based in Austin, Texas. By using this site, requesting a guide, or becoming a founding member, you're entering this agreement with Pierre Zah individually, doing business as PANGEAS.

What PANGEAS is, right now

PANGEAS is in Phase 1 of its roadmap: a website, a free AI-generated local living guide, and a founding membership program. The Library, Academy, community platform, marketplace, and Worlds referenced on this site are planned future phases — they are not built yet, and joining as a founding member does not guarantee a specific launch date for any of them.

The free living guide

Guide content is generated by an AI model based on your zip code. It's general, regionally-informed information for entertainment and inspiration — not professional advice on health, agriculture, safety, or emergency preparedness. Verify anything before relying on it, especially anything safety-related.

Founding membership

• Membership is a recurring subscription — $120/year or $20/month — billed through Stripe and renewing automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal link in your receipt or welcome email. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current billing period already paid for.
• Founding member benefits (early access, input on priorities, community access) are tied to an active membership and roll out as each roadmap phase ships — they are not a promise of ownership, equity, or a formal governance role in PANGEAS.
• We can update membership pricing or benefits going forward with notice; changes won't apply retroactively to a billing period you've already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site — no scraping the guide generator at scale, no attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no using PANGEAS for anything unlawful.

No warranty

PANGEAS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the site or guide content will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pierre Zah / PANGEAS isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid PANGEAS in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PANGEAS after a change means you accept the update.
